At 20.34 hours on Wednesday 24th October 2012 , WCRR were tasked by MRCC, Irish Coast Guard to carry out a search on the River Suir to a possible Red Flare sighting. WCRR crew launched rescue boat and carried out a search as requested with negative results. Crew was stood down by MRCC at 21.45 and returned to base.
