Assistance to Emergency Services

Shortly after 2am on Wednesday 22nd February WCRR were tasked by Waterford Gardai to assist Emergency services at an incident where two people were in River Suir.   WCRR crew responded and assisted the Fire Service , Gardai and Ambulance in the successful removal of the people from the River.        

Assistance to Coast Guard

On the 31st December 2011, Waterford City River Rescue responded to call out from the Irish Coast Guard to assist in search of River Suir with Rescue 117 for a person in the River ,  the search conclued with negative results.
