On the 26th December 2012 , at 18.25 hours , WCRR was tasked by the Irish Coast Guard (MRCC) and Gardai to conduct a search of the River Suir from Rice Bridge to Ballycarr. Unit was launched and carried out a search with Waterford Fire Service and Gardai and was stood down and returned to base at 19.50 hours.
