At 19.50 hours on Wednesday 26th March 2014 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Irish Coast Guard MRCC to assist a vesssel which had run out of fuel at Cheekpoint on the river Suir. Resue boat was launched and reached the vessel, a Maxim 5.5 metre motorboat with five persons on board which was anchored in the river at Cheekpoint , at 20.03 hours . Crew of rescue boat delived fuel to the vessel and escorted the vessel and passangers safely to Duncannon. Rescue boat was stood down at 21.05 hours and returned to rescue base.
