On Tuesday the 11th November 2014 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Irish Coast Guard ( MRCC ) to assist in a search of the river Barrow for a missing person. WCRR Rescue Boat was launched and responded at 15.30 hours, also in attendance were Rescue 117 and Fethard Lifeboat. A search was conducted on both sides of river with negative results . Rescue Boat and crew were stood down by MRCC and returned to Base at 17.30 hours.
