At 16.00 hours on Friday 27th June 2014 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Irish Coast Guard ( MRCC) to assist at an incident on the river suir where there was a person in the river.   Crew were mobilised and responded to the incident .  Other emergency services were at the scene including Waterford Fire

Remember that WCRR Kayak Run takes place on Saturday the 21st June from Cheekpoint to Waterford departing at 10am .  You can register for the run from 9.15am.

At 19.50 hours on Wednesday 26th March 2014 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Irish Coast Guard MRCC to assist a vesssel which had run out of fuel at Cheekpoint on the river Suir.   Resue boat was launched and reached the vessel, a Maxim 5.5 metre motorboat with five persons on board which was anchored

At 17.30 hours on Thursday 13th February 2014 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Irish Coast Guard ( MRCC ) to assist  Rescue 117 in a search for a beacon on the River Suir .  Rescue Boat was launched and a search was carried out with negative results.   Unit was stood down at 18.20 hours
