On the 20th July 2012 at 16.15 hours , WCRR were tasked by MRCC ( Irish Coast Guard) and Waterford Gardai to respond to an incident on the River Suir. On scene were Waterford City Fire Service , Waterford Gardai and HSE Ambulance Service. One person was removed by ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital . The Unit was stood down by MRCC at 1700 hours. Well done to the crew at Waterford City Fire Service and all the other Agencies involved.
