Assistance to Vessel on River Suir

At 8.55am on the 4th September 2012 , WCRR was tasked by Irish Coast Guard , MRCC, to assist a 40 foot sailing vessel with four persons on board which had suffered engine failure while on the  River Suir.   WCRR  crew launched and arrived on scene and rendered assistance to the vessel and towed it to Waterford.   Crew were stood down at 11am.
