At 9.30am on Sunday 16th June 2013 , WCRR CRBI was tasked by Waterford Gardai to assist at an incident where a boat with three persons on board was in difficulty on the River Suir. Crew launched rescue boat and were on scene together with Rescue 117 in minutes. The incident was successfully resolved and the boat was towed to shore and the crew returned to base at 10.45am.
